Door Supervisors

Door supervisors are responsible for the safety of customers and staff in places such as pubs, bars and nightclubs. They spend most of their time at the entrance to the premises and check the suitability of people coming in. They may refuse entry to anyone they consider unsuitable. Their role as a door supervisor can also be used to collect tickets from people coming in, Escort people in or out of a venue if necessary and deal with major emergencies, such as fires or bomb threats.
