Fire Extinguisher Maintenance
Protek can provide service agreements that can be carried out on any brand of fire extinguisher. The service is carried out in accordance with BS: 5306, part 3 and will include internal and external inspection of all extinguishers. The Service covers general servicing of appliances, greasing and making free all working parts and triggering mechanisms and checking there is no corrosion.
The extinguisher will also have a self- adhesive label affixed showing the date of inspection and the work carried out. A certificate of inspection is left at the time at of the visit, which gives details of the number and type of extinguisher on site detailing the parts used during the service.
