Smoke Cloak is being increasingly used to protect a hugely diverse range of products and premises. It works by slowing and disorientating intruders, and has been found to be enormously effective in its aim of ensuring minimum property loss.
How does it work?
When your alarm system is activated by an intruder, the Smoke Cloak immediately begins to release an impenetrable fog-like smoke into the area or areas protected. For example an area of 100m2 can be filled in less than 30 seconds! This is enough to cover every inch of an average sized shop. Once activated, the system is connected to a sensor which stops producing smoke at a preset level; however, if the smoke begins to disperse and clear, more smoke is produced to maintain a dense fog.

Linking the criminal to the crime scene...
The RedWeb Security redDNA™ solution is a forensic tag which is composed of unique biosynthetic redDNA™. RedDNA™ is available as an invisible solution or as a red dye which helps police officers and security personnel to identify a suspect fleeing a crime scene. It can also be purchased in gel, grease and spray forms and can be used to protect metals, wood, laminates, glass, UPVC, plastics, masonry and cabling.
Each batch of redDNA™ contains a unique encrypted biosynthetic tag. Once purchased each batch, whether a spray canister or a pot of grease or gel, is registered to an individual user and location.
RedDNA™ contains a red dye which remains on the skin and clothing for several days, and an indelible UV dye which can only be seen under UV light. It is this which contains the encrypted biosynthetic tag. Once the redDNA™ trace has been swabbed and tested, the unique tag means that it can be linked back to the crime scene. RedDNA™ is also available as an invisible covert solution, without the coloured dye.
